WHAT IS SANDRY® OXYGEN ABSORBER?

SANDRY® is a small and slim pack absorbing oxygen to preserve products and eliminate the damaged agents such as mold, mites,…, which helps prolong the self-life of products. SANDRY® currently expands its application to many different products and fields, from pharmaceutial products to metal industries, especially food. SANDRY® is considered as a method to preserve both tases and freshness of food. OPERATING PRINCIPLES OF SANDRY®

The main component of SANDRY® is a specially treated iron powder. SANDRY® is capable of absorbing or eliminating oxygen within a sealed container to make oxygen concentrations in the packaging approximately equal to zero (about 0.2% or less). It creates an oxygen free condition, which helps prevent food deterioration and reduce the damage caused by oxidation. Therefore, food products are better preserved, maintain fresh flavor and texture, ensure the nutrive value of the original product.
